Let’s see whether this sounds familiar? You are looking at the sales totals for last week – and have no idea why they’re so good. How long would it take you to design what you would say?
The problem isn’t that you have nothing to say, but rather that you would have to sit down and think about it. What if you asked an NFL quarterback what the game plan was for an upcoming game? Do you think they would have to sit down and think about it? Do you suppose if you asked Phil Jackson, 9-time NBA championship coach from the LA Lakers, what his coaching philosophy was that he would be stumped?

Remember Pele? Of course you do, the Brazilian who played incredible soccer for 25 years, scored 1,260 career goals, was chosen as the Athlete of the Century by the International Olympic Committee and named as one of Time Magazine “100 most influential people of the 20th century.“ He was so revered that in 1967, the two factions involved in the Nigerian Civil War agreed to a 48-hour ceasefire so they could watch him play an exhibition game in Lagos. Pele was an attacking midfielder/forward – the playmaker, scoring was his job. The rest of the players got him the ball, cleared the way, and defended so he could make plays.
